  • Viewpoint: Ceramics 2026

    Summary: “The Hyde Art Gallery and the Grossmont College Ceramics Program proudly presents VIEWPOINT: Ceramics 2026, the latest chapter in a storied ceramics exhibition series that began in 1977. Returning for Spring 2026, this juried showcase reimagines the spirit of the seminal VIEWPOINT exhibitions, which brought together artists from across Southern California to explore diverse perspectives in contemporary ceramic practice.”

  • Installations at the Station

    Summary: “Installations at the Station is an annual program of Arts District Liberty Station that commissions artists to create temporary public art pieces that highlight the multifaceted elements of this site and region. For the 2026 RFQ, we are looking for artists or artist teams that represent the San Diego/ Northern Baja region, with an interest in responding to themes relevant to the history, present, and future of Arts District Liberty Station: our increasingly interconnected multicultural/multinational region, the changing natural environment and coastal ecosystems, deepening understanding of the history of NTC and San Diego, and the role of art in activating public space and engaging the diverse populations of our region.”

  • Spirit of the Season: From Harvest to Altar / Impresiones del Otoño

  • Fractured Forms

    Summary: “Artists use "broken forms" in their work, often using fragmentation and juxtaposition to express themes of modern life, conflict, and the human condition. These themes can demonstrate that fractured forms can be a powerful tool for exploring complex concepts and technique in contemporary art. Think about how your work can illustrate ambiguity in architecture, human design or figurative images.”

  • Esperanza Park Roundabout Sculpture

    Summary: “The Public Arts Commission invites artists to create a sculpture for the entryway roundabout in the city’s newest public space, Esperanza Park. Esperanza Park is a new 7.5 acres park featuring children’s play areas, shaded picnic spaces, fitness equipment, sports fields, basketball courts, a dog park, and connectivity to the regional CV Link, a regional multi-modal trail system.”

  • See What You Can Find!- Vol. 4

    Summary: “The BruHaus invites artists to join SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND! Vol. 4, a curated group show hosted in our 2,500-sq-ft ex-bargain supermarket, reinvented as an experimental art gallery in Hollywood, California. The title, SEE WHAT YOU CAN FIND!, was once the store’s slogan, now carried over as a playful nod to the space’s history.
