    Summary: “Artists are invited to submit visual artworks for a group show celebrating the City’s 40th anniversary. Artworks must feature imagery (realistic, stylized or abstracted) of the city of West Hollywood - its landmarks, streetlife, and other places.   • The 16th Art About Agriculture Exhibition

    Summary: “The purpose of “Art About Agriculture” is to promote awareness of agriculture by using art to explore its many facets—from workers to water, from machinery to fields, and to the food that fills our plates. “Art About Agriculture” is a juried, group show open to all artists over the age of 18 working in any two- or three-dimensional medium who create art that in some way draws its inspiration from our agricultural heritage and/or contemporary agriculture.”

  • 13th Annual Joshua Tree National Park Art Expo

    Summary: “In recognition of a long-standing tradition between artists and our national parks, Joshua Tree National Park Council for the Arts created an annual art exposition in 2013, with a juried exhibition featuring art depicting or inspired by the natural aspects of Joshua Tree National Park or its cultural history. The exhibition is displayed at the historic 29 Palms Art Gallery at the Oasis of Mara, next to park headquarters.”

  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) Art Exhibition Program

    Summary: “Artists, curators, and artist teams selected through this Request for Proposals (RFP) will be eligible to work with the LAX Art Program staff to develop temporary exhibitions and installations for art exhibition sites at LAX’s facilities. Exhibitions and installation projects commissioned for LAX through this RFP will include a curatorial budget that may range between $9,000 and $14,000.”

    Summary: “The County of San Diego Edgemoor Acute Psychiatric Hospital, Public Art Committee is looking for muralists to enhance the interior and exterior of a 105- foot wall. The interior wall facing the courtyard will support the patient experience while the exterior wall facing the Sally Port and parking lot will support the wayfinding which is essential for creating a stress-free experience for visitors and patients alike.”

    Summary: “Metro Art invites visual artists based in Los Angeles County to submit qualifications for opportunities to design two-dimensional (2D) artworks for future stations along the East San Fernando Valley (ESFV) Transit Project and the G Line Improvements Project, both serving the East San Fernando Valley. The contract awards are anticipated to range between $110,000 and $120,000, depending on the scope and scale of the artwork locations.”
