LAX Meet Me at the Mural Initiative
Summary: “LAWA is seeking to commission murals for display for a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years on prominent walls in the terminals at LAX. The selected artists will design murals that welcome the public to LAX; enhance and humanize the travel experience; reflect the identity and diversity of Los Angeles; and advance Los Angeles’ reputation as the culture capital of the world. Up to ten (10) finalists will be selected and artists will each be awarded a commission within a range of $14,000 to $38,000.”

San Diego Museum of Art Centennial Branding Project
Summary: “In celebration of its 100th anniversary in 2026, The San Diego Museum of Art invites artists from the San Diego/Tijuana region to submit applications for a special centennial branding project. We are commissioning three unique artistic interpretations of the Museum’s iconic façade to honor the rich history, architecture, and cultural legacy of the Museum. Selected works will be featured as part of the Museum’s centennial identity and integrated into commemorative materials throughout 2026. In addition, the commissioned pieces will be featured in a Museum gallery space for a portion of the centennial year.”
