The last thing I want to cover is your domain. Head back to the settings menu and click domains and email. And now, click domains.

Right now, your site uses a domain that Squarespace randomly generated for you. You can edit this by clicking on it and then writing in your own domain name.

Keep in mind that this will still end in squarespace.com. You can, however, purchase your own domain so that you don't have to include Squarespace in the URL and instead, it can just be your site name.com.

To do this, go back to domains and click get a domain. You can use this bar to search the name of the domain you want.

Squarespace will tell you if it's available and how much it costs. It will then guide you through the steps to secure the domain.
