Let’s start on the homepage. Make sure we're in editor mode. Let's first save this section so you always have a copy of it in its original version if you need it.

Here's how to replace an image. Double-click on the image block. Click Replace, and then Upload File. To add photos to your site, you can find them in what's called your image library.

Since I already have photos in my library, I'm going to select from my library to grab one. Now let's edit this text.
0:34
Triple-click this text to highlight it. Now type in your own statement. I say to highlight and type rather than highlight and delete because Squarespace will sometimes reset the format if you delete the text.
0:46
That's not necessarily a problem because you always have this toolbar to change the format to however you would like it to be, but to save you yourself the effort of re-formatting, just stick to highlighting and typing rather than highlighting and deleting.
0:57
And try to keep your statement around two to three sentences max. This should just be a summary of your art.
1:02
If your text takes up more room than this, you might notice that some of the elements have moved around to accommodate the new size of your paragraph.
1:10
Your photo now might be too small in comparison. If you want to fix that, you can click on it and then you can drag these dots to make a photo larger or You can also change the size of this shape by clicking on it and dragging these dots.
1:24
You might also want to change the text size by triple clicking it and then choosing a paragraph or header size from the menu. You can also move these buttons all at the same time by clicking in the blank area and then dragging your mouse over all the buttons until they're one unit and then click and drag them into a new spot.

This section was made using the gallery feature. First, we'll go ahead and save it before we make any changes.
1:51
Now, although they look similar, these are not image blocks that can be moved independently, like the one we were just editing.
1:56
These are part of one unit called a gallery. To edit the gallery, hover over the section and click Edit Gallery.
2:04
You'll want to delete all these photo templates that are currently in here. To do that, hover over the template and click the trash icon.
2:13
To add your own, click the plus icon. Clicking Search Images will bring you to your image library. Clicking Upload Image will allow you to choose a new image from your device to add.
2:23
Don't need to include all of your art pieces here. These are just meant to be highlights, so try to stick to 6 or 8. That way you can have even columns of 3 or 4. Hit Close.
2:39
You can adjust how your gallery looks by hovering over the gallery and clicking Edit Section. You might want to increase or decrease the number of columns based on how many photos you decided to add to your gallery.
2:51
You may also need to adjust the aspect ratio of your pictures. You can do that here. Here we have the newsletter form.
3:04
Make sure to save the section. If you don't have a newsletter, you can remove this section by hovering over it and clicking remove. These text boxes function like the ones we previously covered, so if you need to edit this text, you can do so.
3:17
To edit the form, double-click it. The only edit you might want to make right now is to the Post Submit field.
3:26
Right now, after someone submits their email, the form will display this text, but feel free to replace that with your own message.
