0:01 Now let's work on the homepage. Make sure we're in Site Editor mode. Let's first save this section so you always have a original copy of it if you need it.

0:11 Here's how to replace an image. Double-click on the image block. Click Replace and, And then Upload File. As you add photos to your site, you can find them in what's called your image library.

0:23 Since I already have photos in my library, I'm gonna click Select from Library to grab one. Now let's edit this text.

0:35 Double-click the text to activate it. Then highlight the existing paragraph and write your own statement. I say to highlight and type rather than highlight and- because Squarespace will sometimes reset the format if you delete the text.

0:48 That's not necessarily a problem, because you always have this toolbar to make the text look however you want. But to save yourself the effort of reformatting it, just stick to highlighting and typing rather than highlighting and deleting.

1:01 This should just be a summary of your art. If your text takes up more room than this, you might notice that the formatting has moved around a little bit to accommodate the new size of your paragraph.

1:12 If that happens, here's how to fix it. it. You can change the size of a shape by clicking on it, dragging these dots.

1:18 and see you You can also move a text box by clicking on it and dragging it. might find that these elements have also moved.

1:32 if you want to move multiple elements at the same time, instead of clicking and dragging them one-by-one, here's how. Move your mouse to an empty space next to the elements.

1:40 Now click and drag until you've highlighted every element you need to move. Now click and drag them into place.

1:49 You can also adjust how much blank space is left on a section, by hovering over the bottom, and clicking and dragging this button.

2:01 This area consists of two different kinds of elements, Image blocks and buttons. These buttons are already linked to the pages they represent, so the only thing you need to edit is the images.

2:11 Just like with the photo above, we're gonna double click on the image block and upload the image of our choosing.

2:17 Then go ahead and do that two more times. You can also delete any of these images by clicking on the image block.

2:23 And clicking the trash icon. This section was made using the gallery feature. First we'll go ahead and save it before we make any changes.

2:35 Now although these look similar, these aren't image blocks that can be moved independently like the ones we were just editing.

2:40 They're part of one unit called the gallery. To edit the gallery, hover over the section- and click edit gallery. You'll want to delete all the photo templates that are currently in here.

2:51 To do that, hover over each photo and click the trash icon. To add your own, click the plus icon. Clicking search images will bring you to your image library.

3:04 Clicking upload image will allow you to choose a new image from your device to add. You don't need to include all of your art pieces here, because we have a gallery page where those will go.

3:16 These are just meant to be highlights. Try to stick to 6 or 8, that way you can have even columns of 3 or 4.

3:22 When you're done adding to your gallery, Click Close. You can adjust how your gallery looks by hovering over the gallery and clicking Edit Section.

3:36 You may want to increase or decrease the number of columns depending on how many photos you're displaying. You may also need to adjust the aspect ratio of the pictures. You can do that here

3:46 Here we have the newsletter form. First, make sure to save the section. If you don't have a newsletter, you can remove this section by hovering over it and clicking remove.

4:11 These text boxes functions like the ones we previously covered. So if you have to edit this text, you can do so.

4:18 To edit the form, double click it. The only edit you might want to make right now is to the post submit field.

4:28 Right now, after someone submits their email, this form will display this text. feel free to replace it with your own message.
