The last thing I want to go over is your domain. Head back to the main settings and click on Domains and Email.

Then click on Domains. Right now, your site uses a domain that Squarespace randomly generated for you. You can edit this by clicking on it and writing in your own domain name. Keep in mind that it will still end in squarespace.com. You can, however, purchase your own domain so that you don't have to include Squarespace in the URL and instead it can just be your site name. com. To do this, go back to domains, then click get a domain.

You can use this bar to search the name of the domain you want. Squarespace will tell you if it's available and how much it costs.
