Now we'll go over making your site public. Right now, your site is only visible to you as you work on this free trial, but in order to make it public, you need to choose your Squarespace subscription plan.

Let's leave the pages menu and head to the home menu. Click on the Settings icon down here. Click Site Availability. Click Upgrade to Publish.

It will then prompt you to pick a plan. I designed this website to run on the very basic plan, which is the personal plan. Like I mentioned at the beginning of this tutorial, once you feel more comfortable with the platform, you may want to look into upgrading to a business plan so that you can use the more advanced selling and shop features. Regardless of which plan you choose, this is where you make that selection.
