Now we're going to go over making your site public. Right now, your site is only visible to you as you work on this free trial, but in order to make it public, you need to choose your Squarespace subscription plan.

Let's leave the pages menu and head to the home menu. Click on the settings icon down here, and then click Site Availability.

Click Upgrade to Publish. It will then prompt you to pick a plan option. This website is designed to run on the very basic plan, which is the personal plan.

Like I mentioned at the beginning of this tutorial, once you feel more comfortable with the platform, you might want to look into upgrading to a business plan so that you can use some more advanced selling and shop features.
