To edit the contact form, double-click it. The most important step you need to take is to assign this form to your email.

Click storage and then click example email. Erase this email and replace it with your own. When someone submits an inquiry through this form, Squarespace will send an email notification to whatever address you list here.

You can also view form submissions by clicking on manage submissions. This will bring you to a different page in your account that shows you the form submissions you've received.

You can also access this from the contacts tab and then lists and segments. Form submitters will show you who has reached out on your site's contact page.

Subscribers will show you who has provided their email through your newsletter form or has given you permission to send them marketing emails.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you can edit the form fields. If you click add field, there will be several options for you to choose from. If you want to add a field that isn't listed here, like for example, you want to ask people what state they're in, you can do that with a text field.

Click on your new field to write in your question. Then decide if you want to make an answer a requirement in order to submit the form.

You can delete fields by clicking on the trash icon. can also use the post-submit feature to display a message after someone sends an inquiry.

This is what it's currently set to, but you can erase this and replace it with your own message if you'd like.
